The National Computing and Communications Campus of Bank Leumi was constructed in Lod in the 1980s, designed by the architectural firm Rechter Architects. In 2000, the planning of new office buildings for Bank Leumi’s executive management within the campus began, led by Moshe Tzur Architects.

The original office buildings of the communications campus were characterized by an architectural language based on the hexagonal form. The new office buildings frame the campus from the north with an orthogonal architectural language, while at its center a landscaped garden of approximately 9 dunams was created.
The campus is not fenced; instead, it is elevated above street level by a wall/water feature that serves as a welcoming element for visitors arriving at Bank Leumi’s headquarters.

The landscape design introduces a complementary and contrasting geometry based on the circle, enabling inward convergence and a soft connection between the various buildings. At the center of the garden stands a wooden pergola with a diameter of approximately 80meters, beneath which diverse seating areas were created, allowing for a range of social interactions—from solitary seating to shared meals.

A network of pathways crossing the campus connects the new and existing buildings and allows for increasing intimacy as one moves farther away from the buildings. Hundreds of trees were planted, and diverse vegetation was introduced to create a variety of spatial experiences.

At the heart of the campus, a café and a biological pool follow the circular geometry and, together with the amphitheater, form afocal point for intimate gatherings, everyday use, and social events.
